A fanpage in Vietnam posted a story about “a pregnant dog sacrificed itself while fighting with a king cobra to protect its owner,” touching netizens.

A pregnant dog died while trying to protect her owner from a poisonous snake.
Her owner shared on Facebook in pain. Just after midnight, a king cobra broke into the owner’s house. This is one of the most poisonous snakes in the world, letting it enter the house will definitely endanger human life. But luckily the family dog soon discovered it and stopped it from the bottom of the stairs.
It defeated the snake on the spot. A few minutes later it also fell down. Checking it, the owner discovered that there was blood flowing out, indicating that it had been bitten by the snake.
The owner quickly took it to the vet but it was too late. The family later held a small funeral to remember him and his unborn children.
